Global Cloud Skills Cup is a global contest dedicated to Cloud, Data & AI and Development experts. A competition to find and reward talented professionals able to bring innovation to companies.
The LLPA, a global network of companies in the field of IT technical training, has officially launched the Global Cloud Skills Cup 2021. An opportunity for the best professionals in Cloud, Data & AI and Development to meet each other and have the chance to win rich rewards.
The competition will have a local stage, organized by participating LLPA partners, and a global stage, which will nominate world champions in each of the three areas. There will also be recognition and prizes for winners and finalists in each country.
Pipeline will organize the preliminary stage for Italy
As LLPA member for Italy, Pipeline will organize the preliminary stage, which will take place online, with registration and access to the quizzes. The platform will be available from Monday, March 1 to Sunday, March 15. Compete in the Global Cloud Skills Cup! The quiz features 20 questions to be answered in less than 5 minutes.
After the first stage of free access, the results will be published and the top 5 will be selected for the national finals, which will take place on Wednesday 23, Thursday 24 and Friday 25 March, from 12.30 to 13.00. The three winners will receive a certificate and a €150 Amazon voucher.
Calendar of events of the Italian elimination stages
Here is a summary of the calendar:
• Monday, March 1 – Opening of the online tests
• Monday, March 15 – Closing of the first stage and selection of the top 5 winners per area
• Wednesday 23 March, from 12.30 to 13.00 – Final of the Cloud IT Professional area
• Thursday, March 24, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. – Data & AI Area Final
• Friday, March 25, 12:30 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. – Cloud Development Area Final
• June 2021 – Global Finals managed by The LLPA
Prizes and awards
From Monday, March 28, the results will be published, and the prizes will be awarded. The three winners will receive a €150 Amazon voucher, while the remaining 4 finalists will be eligible for a free MeasureUp Practice Test.
Who will be the new cloud champion of the world?
The winners of the national stage will participate in the global finals organized directly by The LLPA in June, along with competitors from 15 countries. The final three winners will be able to claim the title of Cloud Pro World Champion, Data & AI Pro World Champion or Developer World Champion.
